AUTHOR claims to have reported about Adobe's new software VoCo that allows you to take audio recordings of someone's voice then doctor them, making the speaker say words or phrases that they never actually said. VoCo was nicknamed "Photoshop of Speech," for that is basically what it is, a software editing tool that can manipulate digital files for both legitimate creative ends and willful deception.

In fact, VoCo is being labeled as a security threat by some media and cybersecurity experts due to the various ways it can be used to "put words in someone else's mouth" - an obvious nightmare for politicians, celebrities, lawyers and journalists.

VoCo's caveat is that it requires at least 20 minutes of audio samples before its algorithm can successfully mimic someone's voice.

Now, a new start-up wants to one-up that and claims its software can copy and synthesize anyone's voice with just a minute long recording.

Lyrebird - Copy the voice of anyone

Montreal-based start-up company Lyrebird is set to launch its new service that uses deep learning artificial intelligence and algorithms to mimic anyone's voice from even a minute worth of audio samples.

The company claims that its software can compress anyone's voice "DNA" to generate a unique key. This key can then be used to generate and synthesize speech with the corresponding voice "DNA."

Aside from creating artificial speech, users can even control the emotion of the computer-generated voice to express human subtleties like anger, stress or sympathy.

The developers said that their processing clusters are powerful enough to generate 1,000 real-time sentences in less than a half a second.

To showcase how accurate their voice-mimicking technology is, Lyrebird's website has a number of audio demos with artificial talk from the likes of Donald Trump, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

To the Editor of The New York Times:

In your issue of the 19th inst. Edison makes statements which cannot fail to create erroneous impressions..

There is a vast difference between primitive Hertz-wave signalling, practicable to but a few miles, and the great art of wireless transmission of energy, which enables an expert to transmit, to any distance, not only signals, but power in unlimited amounts, and of which the experiments across the Atlantic are a crude application. The plants are quite inefficient, unsuitable for finer work, and totally doomed to an effect less than one percent of that I attained in my test in 1899.

Edison thinks that Sir Hiram Maxim is blowing hot air. The fact is my Long Island plant will transmit almost its entire energy to the antipodes, if desired. As to [Martian communications] I can only say, that I shall be able to attain a wave activity of 800,000,000 horse power and a simple calculation will show, that the inhabitants of that planet, if there be any, need not have a Lord Raleigh to detect the disturbance.

Referring to your editorial comment of even date, the question of wireless interference is puzzling only because of its novelty. The underlying principle is old, and it has presented itself for consideration in numerous forms. Just now it appears in the novel aspects of aerial navigation and wireless transmission. Every human effort must of necessity create a disturbance. What difference is there in essence, between the commotion produced by any revolutionary idea or improvement and that of a wireless transmitter? The spectre of interference has been conjured by Hertzwave or radio telegraphy in which attunement is absolutely impossible, simply because the effect diminishes rapidly with distance. But to my system of energy transmission, based on the use of impulses not sensibly diminishing with distance, perfect attunement and the higher artifice of individualization are practicable. As ever, the ghost will vanish with the wireless dawn.

Most of us, think of Guglielmo Marconi as the father of radio, and Tesla is unknown for his work in radio. Marconi claimed all the first patents for radio, something originally developed by Tesla. Nikola Tesla tried to prove that he was the creator of radio but it wasn't until 1943, where Marconi's patents were deemed invalid; however, people still have no idea about Tesla's work with radio.

CARTOON MOVIE 2015, Europe's largest gathering of producers, distributors and animation studios, has included in the official selection the script and concept for the animated feature film about Nikola Tesla "BEFORE YOU WAKE" of the Serbian Studio "Carousel". From over 1,000 projects submitted, only 50 were selected for presentation in Lyon (in March) with the aim of financing and concluding post-production. The film won't be an extension of the short film "Tesla and the Lamplighter" but an independent story.

The magnets seem to repel each other on the side of the center hanging magnet (I tried to set up the shot with the shadow to show a shadow behind the magnets, that the configuration is not resting on the book) at the same degree as the hydrogen atoms on the side of an oxygen atom.

In 1895, while conducting research with his step-up transformer, Nikola Tesla had his first indications that time and space could be influenced by using highly charged, rotating magnetic fields. Part of this revelation came about from Tesla's experimentation with radio frequencies and the transmission of electrical energy through the atmosphere.

Tesla's simple discovery would, years later, lead to the infamous Philadelphia Experiment and the Montauk time travel projects. But even before these highly top-secret military programs came about, Tesla made some fascinating discoveries on the nature of time and the real possibilities of time travel.

With these experiments in high-voltage electricity and magnetic fields, Tesla discovered that time and space could be breached, or warped, creating a "doorway" that could lead to other time frames. But with this monumental discovery, Tesla also discovered, through personal experience, the very real dangers inherent with time travel.

Tesla's first brush with time travel came in March 1895. A reporter for the New York Herald wrote on March 13 that he came across the inventor in a small café, looking shaken after being hit by 3.5 million volts, "I am afraid," said Tesla, "that you won't find me a pleasant companion tonight. The fact is I was almost killed today.

The spark jumped three feet through the air and struck me here on the right shoulder. If my assistant had not turned off the current instantly in might have been the end of me."

Tesla, on contact with the resonating electromagnetic charge, found himself outside his time-frame reference. He reported that he could see the immediate past - present and future, all at once.

But he was paralyzed within the electromagnetic field, unable to help himself. His assistant, by turning off the current, released Tesla before any permanent damage was done. A repeat of this very incident would occur years later during the Philadelphia Experiment. Unfortunately, the sailors involved were left outside their time-frame reference for too long with disastrous results.

Tesla's secret time travel experiments would continue on in the hands of others who were not as concerned with humanity as Tesla.

After his death in the United States begin to secret weapons research that rely on its work.The most attention caused a "Philadelphia Experiment" from 1943. Tesla led the project "Rainbow" in which the low-frequency magnetic field, tried to hide from the warship radar. Ship and is becoming invisible, but the human eye. When the generators shut down, the ship appeared. Al Bilk, one of the sailors from the ship, he discovered that Tesla’s 1942. RESEARCH began to sabotage when he realized that people will use for experimentation.
When he withdrew from the project was marked as an outlaw. This story gets Crafts. On the street it under strange circumstances strikes car. Recovered, but after a few months found dead in a hotel.

We are left with rumors and speculations on who may have become the heirs of Tesla's research -- hopefully, someday these secrets will be revealed once and for all.

Tesla: There is every evidence that there are intelligent forces in the solar system or galaxy. In 1899 I received beated pulsed frequencies which were obvious signs of intelligent extraterrestrial life which I thought might have come from the planet Mars.
After I received communication which I attributed to the planet Mars, I set my sights on developing a way to transmit intelligent signals and also power to neighbors in this solar system and beyond. Some of my first experiments involved the transmission of a thin ray of light to the part of the moon that was darkened. This was done with my associate Mr. Czito in 1918 for the purposes of demonstration. The point of energy was very easily seen, and this same beam could also be used with needle-nosed accuracy to transmit signals and energy to other planets as well.

Tesla made periodic announcements in the late 1930′s and early 1940′s about his contact with off planet species. He was in contact with the outside, who agreed that there was a problem with the people.

He decided to sabotage the 1942 test in an attempt to stop the project. He de-tuned the equipment so nothing would work. The test failed.
Tesla then turned the project over to Von Neumann in March 1942 and left the project. Von Neumann decided to make changes in some of the equipment. He decided he would need a special ship that was designed from the ground up. The Eldridge was selected. The equipment was built into the ship. They put all the equipment on the ship.
October 1942 arrived. They selected 33 volunteers for the crew, who arrived after graduation in December 1942. We still have a picture of the class.
After the ship was out of drydock work began. In May of 1943 von Neumann installed a third generator. It would never synchronize with the other two. It went out of control one day and zapped one of the men. Von Neumann pulled out the third generator (installed because Tesla had convinced Von Neumann of the potential problem with people) and went back to the original design.
In mid June, the ship had sea trials. On July 22, 1943, they had the test. The ship between radar and optically invisible. They discovered people very disoriented. The Navy pulled the crew off and consulted Von Neumann, who requested more time again from the Navy. The Navy, after consultation with higher-ups, announced that the drop dead date was on the 12th of August, 1943.
Von Neumann voiced his concern that it wasn’t enough time. The Navy decided that it just wanted radar invisibility and not optical invisibility. The equipment was again modified by Von Neumann. August 12th arrived. We knew things were not right. The test began, and for about a minute everything was all right. The ships outline could be seen in the water. There was suddenly a blue flash and the ship disappeared entirely. No radio communication was possible. It was gone. In about three hours it came back. One of the masts was broken. Some personnel were partially embedded in the steel deck. Others were fading in and out. Some disappeared entirely. Many were insane. The Navy extracted the crew and proceeded with four days of meetings to decided what to do about the problem. They decided there would be one more test with another dry run without personnel. They conducted the dry run using about 1000 feet of cable attached to another ship. In late October 1943 the test occurred. The ship disappeared for about 20 minutes. When it returned, they found equipment missing. Two transmitter cabinets and one generator was missing. The cabinet with the zero-time reference generator was intact. At that point, the Navy stripped the ship and stopped the project. The Eldridge served in the war and was turned over to Greece at the end of the war.

The important thing is that there were two tests that were exactly 40 years apart to the day. It was a 40 year separation in hyperspace. Now, the Earth itself has a biorhythm that peaks on a 20 year cycle on August 12th.
It “just happened” to peak and provided the connecting link through the fields of the Earth for the two experiments to lock up in hyperspace. Walk-in efforts are aided if they occur during this peak.
The ship was pulled into hyperspace. We were inside the ship and knew something was drastically wrong with the test. We tried to shut it off but it wouldn’t shut off. We ran out on deck and jumped over the side of the ship. We jumped overboard but ended up in a time tunnel which ended at Montauk, Long Island on August 12th, 1983. At night. We were found very quickly and taken down stairs, where Von Neumann greeted us. He expected us. It was a bit of a shock. We had just been in 1943 and now we were in 1983 looking at Von Neumann as an old man. He said that there was a hyperspace lockup and that we had to go back and shut off the generators on the ship or the hyperspace rift would keep increasing and possibly engulf the planet. He had been waiting 40 years for us to arrive.
Montauk sent us back and we smashed the equipment with axes. The ship returned to its original point in space and about three hours later in time. From 1943 on, Von Neumann didn’t know what happened. He had modified earlier equipment in 1943 to where he had a full blown time machine. The Germans also were working on time travel, and had it working in 1945 just before the end of the war. This is all a matter of record.
After the Navy decided to shut down the project in 1943, Von Neumann was sent to work on the atomic bomb project at Los Alamos until that was over. In 1947 there were major changes in the Department of Defense. Someone in the new structure decided to dig up the Philadelphia project to see if they could find out what went wrong. They asked Von Neumann to “take another look” at the project. He agreed.
There is another matter. Starting about August 6th, 1943, UFOs appeared over the Eldridge for about six days. They were there during the test. One of the UFOs was sucked up into hyperspace with the Eldridge and it ended up in an underground facility in Montauk in 1983. It contained a charging device which some aliens made us go back and get for them, as they didn’t want humans to have it. We don’t know who they were. Pruett was concerned about an alien invasion.
Also, Von Neumann was called by the government to come and assist in the examination of a crashed UFO in 1947 at Aztec. Another crash occurred at Aztec about a year later. The first crash had greys on it and none survived. At least one occupant survived the second crash. The radar systems unintentionally brought down the craft. Radar was used intentionally after that until the aliens got wise to it. The occupant of the second crash was not a grey, and Von Neumann got to talk with it. Von Neumann asked it what the answer to the invisibility problems could be. He learned that he had to go back and do his homework in metaphysics. The nature of the problem was that the personnel on the ship were not locked to the zerotime reference of the ship. Humans are normally locked to the point of conception as a time reference, not a zero-time reference. The time stream lock allows the person to flow in synch with the system so interaction is possible.
Time locks are fragile. All the power of the project disrupted the time-locks of the people on the deck on the ship. When the ship came back in time, the people didn’t come back to the same reference.
Von Neumann realized that he needed a computer, as well as some knowledge of metaphysics in order to be able to lock the time reference of the people to the time reference of the ship. He built a computer in 1950 for the purpose. It was ready to be installed in 1952 and a test was performed in 1953 that was successful. They didn’t go floating off into space when it was over. At this point, the Navy canceled Project Rainbow and changed the name to project Phoenix.
In 1983, they decided to apply mind control to all participants in these projects in an effort to cover them up. They had also been working on another project: age regression.
Tesla had sought back in the 1940′s to develop equipment that could help the members of the crew after they lost time-lock .
The government developed it into the age regression program. It was physical age regression. A person retained the memory they had from the older age.
Tesla’s theory was that if you took the individual’s time-lock and moved it forward in time than you would remove aging. That’s what happened. It took between 30 and 60 days for the body to complete the change to the new time reference
Some of this turned up in the movie called the Philadelphia Experiment, which was released in 1984.

The video shows the flow of fluid through the valve. you will notice that when it flows from left to right the flow is smooth and even. however, when flowing from right to left you will notice from the motion of the bubbles that the flow is much more turbulant. this helps to visualise why the flow in one direction is easier than the flow in another.

Sofia and Nicholas had eight children, and Georgina was their fourth eldest daughter. Among these eight children was Peter, later Metropolitan Nikolaj dabrobosanski Mandic (1840 - 1907), as well as Toma Mandic (1827 - 1906) gornjogračački priest and Zrmanja.
She had to take care of aging six brothers and sisters, because her mother died very early. This has prevented this extraordinary woman to teach school and to develop his gift to a greater extent. About Tesla spoke about her always with particular delight and thought it was his inventive gift inherited from her. During a lecture in Paris, Tesla received the news that his mother was seriously ill. Therefore, it is interrupted scheduled lectures and immediately went to Gospic. He was lucky that the mother is found in life. She died on April 4, 1892, in his 71st year.

Milutin Tesla (Raduč, February 3, 1819 - Gospic, April 17, 1879) was the father of Serbian scientist Nikola Tesla.
He was born in a village in Lika Raducu February 1819, and died in 1879. Born into a family of Nicholas and Anna (nee Kalinic) and had two sisters and a brother of Joseph, which is next to a military career, he was known as a good mathematician. Patron Saint of the family Tesla was St. George.
Milutin was completed in Gospic German school and later enrolled in a military school. Military school leaving, presumably due to poor physical constitution and intolerance harsh military discipline. These are some of the features that can be identified with Nikola Tesla. Milutin then entered the seminary in Plaško and ending in 1845. Soon after the woman Đuko Mandic.
Service begins as a deacon, and soon after becomes ordained priest and sent to Stikada. He then moved to Senj, and in Smiljan. In 1863 he becomes a priest in Gospic. In Gospic teaches in realka Orthodox religious where he became the first religious teacher. He died in 1879 in Gospic.
Milutin was very intelligent and excellent Orthodox priest Metropolitan See of Sremska Karlovac. He was a famous orator, not just in your neighborhood, but in the whole region of Lika. Once the Lika Bishop asked his priests to write a sermon titled "The work and diligence," Milutin wrote the best sermon, and it earned him universal recognition. That's why he moved to the position of administrator and later a priest in Smiljan. Prota Milutin Tesla's newspaper "Serbian Journal" under the pseudonym patriot Pravičić wrote in favor of freedom of Serbs in the Orthodox faith in the Austrian Empire.
In the book "Correspondence Đenerala Budislava Budisavljevic" from 1911 is preserved a letter prote Milutin Tesla, a son of General Buddha, Alexander. In the letter, among other states this: "The wife of my grandson cavalier Prote Budisavljevic your relatives keeps well and soap and welcomes ... We have children, one son (Nicholas) who is svršijo higher Realka, and three daughters, of whom one just got married to a good home, I do not know yet, oceľ her husband be Beamter or popo! Now my beloved poets, I thank you heartily on the verses and brotherly greeting cards! You'll stay in a loving spirit and welcoming. Your ardent admirer and brother Milutin Tesla, Protopr. Vicar.

Tesla sent his images to Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen, which Wilhelm Röntgen later congratulated Tesla for. Shortly after, Roentgen published his discovery of the "X-Ray" on November 8, 1895. History says on Nov. 8, 1895 Röntgen "stumbled" upon the discovery of X-Rays, for which he was later awarded the very first Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901. In keeping with his will, Röntgen had all his personal and scientific correspondence destroyed upon his death. Röntgen also did not take patents out on his discoveries, and donated the money for his Nobel prize to the University of Würzburg.

If all the great inventions and discoveries of Nikola Tesla, nothing stood out with greater potential benefit to the whole of humanity than his discovery of Radiant Energy in 1889. The series of observations that led to the discovery of Radiant energy initially grew out of experiments that Tesla had conducted in an attempt to duplicate the results that Heinrich Hertz had claimed to achieve in affirming the existence of electromagnetic waves, the discovery of which Hertz announced in 1887.

While replicating Hertz’s experiments, Tesla experimented with violently abrupt DC electrical discharges and discovered a new force in the process. Only after conducting exhaustive experimental trials for the next three years, did Tesla announce this stupendous discovery in a paper published in December, 1892, entitled “The Dissipation of Electricity”.

Incredibly, most academicians of the day completely missed the mark in understanding the true significance of his paper. Noted scientists such as Sir Oliver Lodge, mistakenly thought that Tesla was referring to high frequency AC electricity in the operation of the Tesla Transformer, a huge blunder that remains to this day in the misnaming and misinterpretation of the Tesla Coil.

The transformer that Tesla referred to in the 1892 paper did not operate on magnetic/electric field induction created by alternating currents. It operated in an entirely new domain of physics based on abrupt discharges of electrostatic potentials and the subsequent release of kinetic Radiant Energy from the omnipresent ether.

Tesla was now operating under entirely new rules which he referred to as “dynamic” electro-static forces and had, by now, completely abandoned any further interest in the AC waveform. The genesis of the Lodge misunderstanding, however, began a few years earlier with the publication of certainmathematical formulas by a brilliant Scotsman named James Clerk Maxwell.
