Obviously we know why the FBI chose this phone to escalate their demands publicly rather than any of the other dozen phones where they are asking similar access. Their only intention is precedent and they think an anti-terrorism case is where they will have most public support. I now believe they know nothing is on the phone and they changed the password on purpose just to try and set precedent.
